Wood borer are tiny microscopic insects, which are found inherent in the wood. They can at sometime lie dormant for a long period of time (3-8years). In their active state they bore holes in the wood producing sawdust like powder generally found in line with where the holes are bored. The treatment consists of injecting applying oil-based insecticide through tiny holes created by the woodborers where ever noticed.
